Introduction

We ask that you read this privacy policy for Bright-On-Technology (BOT) carefully as it contains important information on who we are, how and why we collect, store, use and share personal information, your rights in relation to your personal information and on how to contact us and supervisory authorities in the event you have a complaint. BOT is a sales and marketing service focused on the information technology market which includes, a lead management online platform for clients to manage appointments the Portal, built into the website the address of which is at www.bright-on-IT.com the Site. We also have an internal data-base we use to contact prospective clients of our services including the Portal.

Who we are

Bright -On-Technology collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

The personal information we collect and use

In the course of providing the Portal and Site that enables the service to be provided to our clients and with respect to the leads we provide through the Portal and Site, we may collect and process the following personal information:

(i) Master ID Data e.g. including names, job titles, electronic mail addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, IP addresses of BOT clients.

(ii) Usage Data e.g, user-name and password.

(iii) Leads Data e.g. including names, job titles, electronic mail addresses, telephone numbers, fax numbers, of potential sales contacts and prospective clients for our services including, an individual(s) officer of a company that expresses demand for services or products of BOT clients; and/ or prospective BOT clients.

(iiii) Transactional Data e.g. invoices, any transactional records.

Every clause in this privacy policy will apply to all personal data that we process equally so it will apply to personal data relating to our clients as well as third party client data from the Leads Data provided through the Portal.

How we use your personal information

We use your personal information as follows:

Master ID Data – as part of our service to manage the data we collect personal data from our clients and we provide data verification and duplication checking to ensure that personal data relating to leads remains current and relevant for our clients.

Usage Data – enable us to provide an account to our clients’ so that they can log-in.

Leads Data – enable us to provide leads containing third party personal data to our clients.

Transactional Data – enable us to process your payments for the service offered through the Portal and Site.

Who we share your personal information with

We will share personal information with law enforcement or other authorities if required by applicable law. We will not share your personal information with any other third party.

How long do we keep the data

We will hold a copy of your Master ID Data; Usage Data, Leads Data and Transactional Data only so long as it remains current. Your data will be removed from our systems termination of your account or request for erasure or where the data is no longer current or following a one-year period of inactivity or.

Reasons we can collect and use your personal information

We rely on processing being necessary for the performance of the Service related contracts as the lawful basis we collect and use your Master ID Data; Usage Data and Transaction Data. We rely on consent as the lawful basis on which we collect and use Lead Data.

Security

We place great importance on the security of all personally identifiable information associated with our users. We have security measures in place to attempt to protect against the loss, misuse and alteration of personal information under our control. For example, our security and privacy policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary and only authorised personnel have access to personal information. Whilst we cannot ensure or guarantee that loss, misuse or alteration of information will never occur, we use all reasonable efforts to prevent it.

You should bear in mind that submission of information over the internet is never entirely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information you submit via the Site whilst it is in transit over the internet and any such submission is at your own risk.

It is advisable to close your browser when you have finished your user session to help ensure others do not access your personal information if you use a shared computer or a computer in a public place.

Storage of your information

Information that you submit via the Site and Portal is sent to and stored on secure servers located in the European Union. This is necessary in order to process the information. By submitting information via the Portal and Site, you agree to this storing, processing and/or transfer.

The General Data Protection Regulation also gives you right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the European Union (or European Economic Area) state where you work, normally live or where any alleged infringement of data protection laws occurred. Changes to this privacy policy

This privacy notice was last updated on 22 May, 2018.

We may change this privacy policy from time to time, when we make a major change we will inform you via email. We may also post minor changes to this Policy, along with their effective date, at a well-articulated part of the Portal and/or Site. Please note that your continued use of BOT after any change means that you agree with, and consent to be bound by, the changes. If you disagree with any changes in this Policy please discontinue use of the Portal and/or Site. Changes to this Privacy Policy will affect both our Clients and any Lead Data that we collect and process.
